When they landed in Raleigh in 1997 their son, Andy, was living in his third state as a toddler before his 2nd birthday.  Knowing the country quite well the Rathers knew that it just doesn't get any better than this, so they threw out the anchor and have made Raleigh their home for over 7 years now.
